TUFT STUFF
Tuft Stuff provides the tools, materials, space & instruction needed for makers to create art through rug tufting. Since 2020, we’ve supplied U.S. and international rug makers with tufting supplies and troubleshooting. And since 2023, we’ve been boggling the minds of Chicago locals and tourists from all over with what they can accomplish in our studio workshops. At our Wicker Park studio, you’ll receive our unique, in-depth instruction, which will teach you not only how to use a tufting machine but also how to craft the best quality rug possible. Students also get ample practice time at individual stations before tracing their chosen image onto the fabric and tufting the night away. We offer two finishing options at the end of class, allowing students to learn how to quickly finish the rugs themselves and take them home that evening or have them professionally finished at our studio to make them extra durable and meticulously clipped and trimmed.
