Swelter Coffee Roasters is a women-owned brand featuring women-grown coffee. We work with women-owned farms and women’s coops across the globe to highlight the natural flavors found in their coffee through their hard work and expertise. We believe uplifting women everywhere is better for our planet and its people.
We are determined to deliver delicious coffee without compromising quality, and focus on supporting a thriving supply chain and planet. We are building a business that matches our values:

Swelter Coffee Roasters was started by Stephanie Welter-Krause after years of roasting coffee as a hobby at home. The brand mission unites her passion for gender equity and sustainability. After having her kid in 2017, she was motivated and inspired to follow her dream build a truly impactful business, on her own terms. She left her secure job and 15 year career in communication design to launch Swelter Coffee Roasters, and has found immense support and community within the coffee industry. Leveraging her experience as a brand designer, she has developed the visual identity and messaging to promote the women behind the coffee and share their stories.
