PARAKEET BLUE
My work is an expression of the beauty I see in nature. The pieces are based on organic settings throughout the world. The pieces bring together colors that are unexpected and textures that are unique. I use mixed media that incorporates vintage glass, resin, found objects from antique markets, and semiprecious gems to show that the unexpected is beautiful. I collect all raw materials myself and get joy from bringing it all together in one piece. Each piece is unique. There are not two of the same kind in any of my work. I see jewelry as an expression of art and a way to show the world who you are. My hope is that each person who owns a piece of my jewelry feels that they embrace their own self-expression each day that they wear a piece of my work.
