MONARCA
Monarca began in Popayán, Colombia, and now continues with a satellite studio in Stanford, California. My sister and I spent years perfecting the process of preserving butterfly wings, flowers, and feathers, ensuring they remained vibrant yet durable. Our mother plays a key role in selecting and preparing flowers for our jewelry. While pursuing my PhD in biology in California, I design and assemble our U.S. collection, blending unique butterfly species with stones and metals to create exclusive designs.
