LA PEQUENA TEXTILES
La Pequeña is a project by Sara Collazo Romay, a floor loom weaver based in Kingston, NY. Sara started weaving after working in the fast fashion industry in an effort to reconnect with every step of the creative process. Everything is made locally in Kingston, from designing to weaving and sewing each of her textiles by hand. La Pequeña offers a selection of ever changing table linens, towels, decorative weavings, and throw pillows – using ancient weaving techniques with a contemporary sensibility to create timeless and functional pieces that will elevate any space.
These textiles are made to drape over your shoulder while you cook your favorite meal, to wipe your sticky fingers, to adorn your table while you eat alone or with the people you love. Stain them, wash them, and use them again and again, they will become the canvas of your everyday moments.
