Julia Foote Prints is a solo project of Julia Foote, a full time artist specializing in silkscreen printing and other paper-based art. Julia left her career in climate organizing in 2021 to pursue art as part of a reckoning with late stage capitalism and the agency it often steals from us to live our most authentic lives. Julia’s art pulls color and comfort from imaginings and experience, often using patterns and palettes of the ’60s and ’70s for a sense of nostalgia and relief. She aims to provide affordable art pieces that make people feel warm, sentimental, and comforted.
