I am a maker of functional and sculptural ceramics that are all one of a kind. Following the form of the clay and my intuition, I carve the exterior of each piece and use stains and resist methods during the glaze process to highlight the texture of the clay. I work out of my home in Chicago and when not working with clay, I teach K-8 art and make puppets for theatre.
