FAMILIAR SHAPE
I am a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in the Chicago suburbs. All my life I have pursued artmaking as my focus. My career is based in tattooing, but I explore several other art forms in my spare time. This includes pottery, candle making, and digital art. I began making candles about 5 or 6 years ago as a simple hobby which soon grew into a something I could share with others. I’ve also spent a great deal of time in and around Renaissance faires which influenced my interest in learning to make my own medieval-inspired ceramic work. Lately I have been combining the two hobbies and making both the candle and vessel into a completely unique product!
