ADELITAS ANTOJITOS
Over a family birthday dinner and playful jokes, a shared yearning emerged: A deep longing for the flavors and memories tied to the recipes of our mothers and grandmothers, and that lawless joy that comes from savoring Latin street comfort foods.
Fueled by this shared passion, we decided to take a leap. In 2023 Adelita’s Antojitos took to the streets of San Francisco, serving classic Latin antojitos, revisiting generations-old techniques and a handcrafted approach.
Today, our limited menu is rooted in regional Salvadoran and Mexican flavors, drawn from our mothers’ and grandmothers’ recipes. Adela Romero honors her Salvadoran heritage, while her daughter-in-law, Alejandra Arenas, brings her own Mexican influences.
