For The Anti Valentine's Day Valentine

A Movie Festival For One

Is this not the most anti-Valentine’s-Day-Valentine you’ve ever seen? Sweden’s Goteborg Film Festival has taken social distancing to the extreme, offering one attendee (not two!) a week on a barren island, with only the competition films for company. And in perfect anti-Valentine’s-Day fashion, the ticket is claimed and you can’t go (but you can watch the movies at home on their site)!

Mandy

Speaking of movies, Mandy is a dark (but very purple?) psychedelic horror movie starring Nicolas Cage. It’s kind of beyond description, but we think if it did have a genre, it’d fall under ‘Anti-Valentine’s-Day.’ Not fun for the whole family. At all.
