Land Honoring

We acknowledge that Union Park is native Kiikaapoi (Kickapoo), Peoria, Kaskaskia, Bodéwadmiakiwen (Potawatomi), Myaamia, and Očhéthi Šakówiŋ land, and that tribal peoples live and work among us today. We commit to honoring the land and its Indigenous stewards by tending to the space with reverence and respect through a sustainable and low-waste event.

Transportation

  • We encourage carpooling, ride services, biking, or taking public transportation to the Festival.
  • Check out transportation recommendations here.

Parking

  • The festival does not provide official parking, and parking in the area is extremely limited.
From Pitchfork Music Festival:

The Pitchfork Music Festival is committed to making its facilities accessible and usable by all patrons and visitors. There are ramps from the sidewalks to the street, ADA accessible restrooms, and in addition to our sidewalk-Accessible entrance on Randolph/Ogden, any persons with accessibility needs are welcome to enter through Gate 1 (onto grass) and Gate 2 (onto pavement).

We have designated ADA viewing platforms for festival attendees at all three stages. In order to access these platforms, please check-in at the Accessible entrance or the Box Office to receive a wristband. We will post a map detailing Accessible areas and entrances on our website and social media accounts closer to festival dates.

In order to help us create the best experience for you, please contact us ahead of time with any questions, needs or concerns. If you need space to store any equipment such as oxygen tanks or insulin, please email us ahead of time at info@pitchforkmusicfestival.com, so that we can make accommodations.

If you would like to request sign-language interpretation at the festival, please email info@pitchforkmusicfestival.com. You must submit your request at least 6 weeks prior to the festival dates so we can coordinate with our interpretation service.
