PETTIROSSO
I have worked in the applied arts for almost all of my adult life. I left home and rented my own apartment in Manhattan in 1990 at 22 years old after creating a jewelry line under the name Chimaera. It was sold in gift shops throughout the country and I had a store on 7th street. I then became an interior designer in 2005 and worked on several high end residential projects where I took care of choosing and sourcing everything from kitchenware to custom designed millwork (based on my sketches), furniture, tiles, flooring and artwork (you can see some of that work at argentstudio.net) . Now I’m wanting to get back into making my own designs again by hand and ceramics has really captivated me. I’ve been studying for the last two years and I have a series of ceramic vessels that I’m ready to sell.
