NEXT SEASON
Anne Warren is a long time hand-knitter and recent founder of upcycled knitwear brand Next Season. She currently makes all Next Season pieces by hand in Brooklyn with a domestic knitting machine, using yarn reclaimed from old, damaged sweaters along with deadstock and scraps.
Anne spent the last 10 years working in tech startups wondering how to combine her lifelong interest in fashion and clothes with her early-stage startup expertise and mechanical engineering background. Intrigued by the concept of ‘circular’ systems and the possibility of establishing a circular economy for fashion, she decided to take a hands-on approach and start Next Season. Her vision is to build Next Season into a remanufacturing hub for local and small designers, with a mission to reduce textile waste and elevate new circular systems for fashion.
