KETTLE & KAME CLAY STUDIO
I’ve had my hands in clay since high school, when I spent my study halls and lunch periods in the art studio, learning to center clay on a kick wheel.
After studying ceramics at Alfred University, I was lured into video art, appreciating the moving images and sound. I worked as a video producer for over 20 years, but clay was never too far away.
Understanding that the best way for me to gain more skills was to dedicate more time in the studio, in the winter of 2023, I bought a wheel, set up space in my home and added a kiln a few months later.
I make rustic and whimsical pottery for daily enjoyment, porcelain agate-ware jewelry and eclectic ceramic curios.
