Janie Stapleton Art & Illustration started out of the trunk of my Honda Accord when I was 23. I had no plan, other than “make art and sell it.” Looking back, it should not have worked, but somehow it did. I found my way to Hollywood and learned to design movie posters, and continued to develop my own personal design and illustration style, which is what I sell at these types of fairs. My work is about emotion and connection, and not taking anything too seriously besides the glorious burden of being alive.
I live and work in Los Angeles.
