Joey grew up among the tea fields of Fujian, China, a region renowned as the birthplace of some of the world’s finest teas. Immersed in the rich heritage and traditions of tea cultivation, he learned the intricate art and science of tea-making from his family. While studying in LA, Joey shared his family’s teas with his professors and classmates, who were captivated by their superior taste and quality. This experience highlighted a significant gap: limited access to premium Chinese teas outside of China. Inspired by the enthusiasm and appreciation, Joey selected some of the most representative teas from his homeland to bring and share with tea enthusiasts around the world.
