At our Los Angeles Fair, you’ll find an ample assortment of outstanding handmade goods, a perfect Summer gift-giving solution for upcoming weddings, birthdays, housewarmings and more. Illustrated paper goods, jewelry, children’s accessories and toys, pet products, natural beauty collections, clothing, and housewares are just some of the categories present at this year’s LA Fair. Check out this year’s line up of 300+ talented Makers, food and drink, activities and more here.
Head over to Grand Park and jump in on shopping and Summer fun! DJs from KXLU will be on-hand spinning sunny rock, pop, and soul all weekend to soundtrack your experience at the Fair. Cycling enthusiasts will want to visit with Schwinn, who will be out and about, in partnership with Momentum Magazine and People For Bikes, raffling bikes, accessories, and music downloads to lucky attendees. If you don’t have the right words to tell someone how you feel, local artist, Jessica Ceballos will be invoking her creative muse and writing custom poems and mementos to help you express your feelings in a sonnet.
Those inspired by the creative air can get temporarily inked with GoldInk Tattoo who will give you a metallic design of your choice, or swing by Tandy Leather where you can participate in a make-and-take workshop in the art of leather-working. Then hit up Library Store on Wheels to grab a book for perusing in the Park or save it for your commute. The Yarnover Truck will also be pulling up to Grand Park this year to offer some of their distinctly hand-dyed and spun yarn selections, and easy-to-use patterns—perfect for gearing up and starting a new project! Those on the hunt for some vintage treasures can visit with Lost Girls Vintage and explore their trailer full of found and selected goods from around the country.
Some of LA’s finest food trucks: Falasophy, Luckdish Curry, Peaches’ Smokehouse and Southern Kitchen, Son of a Bun, Tokyo Doggie Style, and more will be parked throughout the weekend alongside popular popsicle pushers Front Porch Pops and Si Paletas. Expect to buy at least one of each flavor over the course of the weekend!
Those looking to rest their feet can do so in style with Finders Keepers vintage seating area where attendees can kick back and take a moment to relax among their handpicked wares. Don’t forget to stop by the free-to-use Magnolia Photo Booth and pose pretty with your friends to commemorate your visit!
