The Renegade Craft Fair is a large-scale DIY event featuring hundreds of independent artists and their unique handmade items. RCF is held in cities across the US every year - including Brooklyn, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles & Austin . The fair is known for being one of the first events of its kind, and for featuring top-notch indie-craft artists and designers who travel from all over the map to participate. At RCF you’ll find all sorts of cool handmade stuff – including clothing, housewares, posters + prints, plush items, ceramics, jewelry, stationery + much more. Each Renegade Craft Fair draws hundreds of applicants, each individually juried so that only the best arts + crafts are available.
The fair also features food + drink, marching bands, entertainers, dj’s, raffles, workshops, photobooths and other festivities! Check out our photos to get an idea of what the fair has to offer!
San Francisco’s 2nd Annual Holiday Sale will take place Saturday and Sunday, December 18 + 19 from 11AM – 7PM at Concourse Exhibition Center – a historic converted railway station, located in the heart of San Francisco’s Design District! The event is held in the Concourse’s East Hall, which has a main entrance at 620 7th Street.

The East Hall of the Concourse is located at 620 7th Street (at Brannan) in San Francisco. We encourage you to bicycle or take public transportation to the fair!
Bicycle:
From Market Street to the Concourse, there is a bike lane going down Eighth Street. There are bike racks on the Eighth Street side of the Concourse building. Once you’ve locked up your bike, walk east on Brannan to 7th Street where you’ll find the main entrance to the Fair.
BART:
Exit at the Civic Center station. You can take the six block walk down Eighth Street to Brannan, turning left to walk to the 7th street entrance, or take the SF Muni 19 bus which drops you off right outside the Concourse. Additional BART options are available at 511.org.
Bus:
From Fisherman’s Wharf, Russian Hill, Nob Hill, or Downtown take the SF Muni 19. From the Marina, North Beach, Downtown, or Embarcadaro take the SF Muni 10(17th and DeHaro). Or for additional bus lines visit 511.org.
Driving:
From Downtown San Francisco:
Take Hyde Street across Market Street, where Eighth Street begins. Continue down Eighth to Brannan. Turn east on Brannan to 7th Street, where you’ll find the main entrance to the Fair.
From the Bay Bridge and Interstate 80:
Take the Ninth Street/Civic Center exit. Turn left on Eighth Street. Continue three blocks to Brannan. Turn east onto Brannan and follow till 7th Street, where you’ll find the main entrance to the Fair.
From Marin County and Highway 101 South:
From the Golden Gate Bridge, take Lombard Street exit to Van Ness Avenue. Turn right on to Van Ness. Proceed to O’Farrell and make a left. Proceed to Hyde Street and turn right. Take Hyde across Market Street, where Eighth Street begins. Continue down Eighth Street to Brannan. Turn east onto Brannan and follow till 7th Street, where you’ll find the main entrance to the Fair.
From the Peninsula and Highway 101:
Take the Ninth Street exit towards Civic Center merge onto Bryant Street turn right on to Eighth Street. Continue down Eighth Street to Brannan Street. Turn east onto Brannan and follow till 7th Street, where you’ll find the main entrance to the Fair.

There is street parking in the surrounding area, and parking is available at the Concourse parking lot adjacent the building.
The Renegade Craft Fair is always FREE to attend!!
Sorry, no pets are allowed in the Concourse Exhibition Center.
Yes! Each fair offers something different. In the past we’ve had kids ‘accessorize with small toys’, learn to knit, take pictures in the photobooth, and have their faces painted! Many of our vendors make kid friendly items too. So, if your child likes tagging along with you when you go shopping, then they’ll love Renegade!
Very carefully! Since we receive many more applications then we can accept for each event, we jury each application based on their originality, quality, how their items fit in with our ‘renegade’ vision, cost and several other criteria.
