Here at RCF, we love a good craftlove match (TM), which is a term we just coined to describe when two crafty people become the best of craft friends after being paired together or placed next to each other at a fair. We love the story of Sarah Bocket of The Bocket Store and Misha Ashton of Misha Ashton Photography, who were neighbors at last year’s RCF Austin and became fast friends. This year, they’re taking their craftship (totally a word) around the country on the inaugural Dots + Photos Tour, which includes all kinds of stops on the RCF Summer Tour,  including this weekend’s 3rd Annual RCF in Austin! We can’t wait to see what crafty goodness they bring.

“Camp offers the next crop of socially-minded designers the chance to use their talent and creativity to make a difference, experiencing what professional life is like Firebelly-style. For 9 days, 10 campers live and work with us to craft a strategic design solution for a nonprofit client, from initial research to final implementation. Camp Firebelly challenges students and recent grads to address social issues through a collaborative project of their own design.”

This year’s camp runs from June 25 – July 3, and applications are up now through May 4th – so get yours in!  Just look at how much fun it looks:
