The 12th Annual Renegade Craft Fair September Market returned to Wicker Park this September 6+7 on Division St. between Damen and Paulina Avenues. This fair hosted one of the largest curated gatherings of indie craft makers in the US. Market hours were from 11 am – 6 pm both Saturday and Sunday.
Shoppers found a variety of outstanding handmade goods at the Fair – ranging from one-of-a-kind jewelry, stationery, clothing and accessories, to leather goods, art prints, housewares and much more.
DJs from Reckless Records spinned both days to keep the atmosphere lively as attendees perused each booth. Lots of delicious food was available for your enjoyment, including Mana Food Bar, Dia De Los Tamales, Seasons Sodas, and Chicago’s Doghouse among other artisan food vendors. Protea Wine was selling and sampling wine, plus Goose Island and Tito’s Vodka was available at the bar.
Delicious local coffee was provided by La Colombe Torrefaction and Bow Truss Coffee Roasters . Shoppers enjoyed a variety of sweet treats provided by Blue Sky Bakery and Cafe, Black Dog Gelato, and Puffs of Doom.
We had several workshops available for attendees to join in on the handmade fun, such as The Chicago School of Shoemaking and the the BERNINA sewing workshop, where participants were able to Sew Pink for the Cause by sewing out a quilt block in support of breast cancer awareness.
Attendees also got to enjoy and shop some amazing vintage vendors at The Vintage Bazaar‘s pop-up on Wolcott Street.
Thanks to all those who stopped by, and don’t forget to check out the photos from your visit with the Magnolia Photo Booth!
