What is the Renegade Craft Fair?

The Renegade Craft Fair is a large-scale DIY event featuring hundreds of independent artists and their unique handmade items. RCF is held in cities across the US every year - including Brooklyn, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles & Austin. The fair is known for being one of the first events of its kind, and for featuring top-notch indie-craft artists and designers who travel from all over the map to participate. What kinds of crafts will be there?

At RCF you’ll find all sorts of cool handmade stuff – including clothing, housewares, posters + prints, plush items, ceramics, jewelry, stationery + more. Each Renegade Craft Fair draws hundreds of applicants, all juried so that only the best arts + crafts are available.

The fair also features choice local eateries, marching bands, entertainers, dj’s, raffles, workshops, photobooths and other festivities! Check out our photos to get an idea of what the fair has to offer!

Is there parking nearby?

There is street parking in the surrounding neighborhood, but it can be hard to come by. You’d probably be better off taking public transit and walking over to the fair!

Is there an entry fee?

The Renegade Craft Fair is always FREE to attend!!

Are pets allowed?

We’ve seen all sorts of pets at Renegade – dogs, cats, parrots! Division Street is a public place, so as long as you’re respectful to others and keep your pet on a leash – it should be fine!

Are there activities for kids?

Yes! Each fair offers something different – In the past we’ve had kids ‘accessorize with small toys’, learn to knit, take pictures in the photobooth, and have their faces painted! Many of our vendors make kid friendly items too – So if your kid likes tagging along with you when you go shopping, then they’ll love Renegade!

How are your vendors selected?

Very carefully! Since we receive many more applications then we can accept for each event, we jury each application based on their originality, quality, how their items fit in with our ‘renegade’ vision, cost and several other criteria.
