The Renegade Craft Fair is a large-scale DIY event featuring hundreds of independent artists and their unique handmade items. RCF is held in cities across the US every year - including Brooklyn, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles & Austin . The fair is known for being one of the first events of its kind, and for featuring top-notch indie-craft artists and designers who travel from all over the map to participate. At RCF you’ll find all sorts of cool handmade stuff – including clothing, housewares, posters + prints, plush items, ceramics, jewelry, stationery + more. Each Renegade Craft Fair draws hundreds of applicants, all juried so that only the best arts + crafts are available.
The fair also features choice local eateries, marching bands, entertainers, dj’s, raffles, workshops, photobooths and other festivities! Check out our photos to get an idea of what the fair has to offer!
Brooklyn’s 6th Annual event will take place Saturday + Sunday, June 5 + 6 from 11AM – 7PM each day. You will find us set-up around the track + field area of the Park, trailing across the street to the walkways around the softball field towards the intersection of Bedford Avenue and N. 12th Street! Please see the map below.
We encourage you to bicycle or take public transportation to the Fair!
Take the L Train to Bedford Ave. in Brooklyn. Walk north on Bedford to N. 12th St. and hang a right into McCarren Park. Vendors will be set-up along the walkways around part of the softball field area as well as the entire track + field area.
Take the G Train to Nassau Avenue. Walk South two blocks to Lorimer Street and take a left on Lorimer Street. Walk 1 block and McCarren Park will be on your right at Driggs Ave.

There is street parking around McCarren Park and the surrounding neighborhood, but it can be hard to come by. You’d probably be better off taking public transit and walking over to the fair!
The Renegade Craft Fair is always FREE to attend!!
We’ve seen all sorts of pets at Renegade – dogs, cats, parrots! McCarren Park is a public place, so as long as you’re respectful to others and keep your pet on a leash – it should be fine!
Yes! Each fair offers something different – In the past we’ve had kids ‘accessorize with small toys’, learn to knit, take pictures in the photobooth, and have their faces painted! Many of our vendors make kid friendly items too – So if your kid likes tagging along with you when you go shopping, then they’ll love Renegade!
Very carefully! Since we receive many more applications then we can accept for each event, we jury each application based on their originality, quality, how their items fit in with our ‘renegade’ vision, cost and several other criteria.
