The Renegade Craft Fair returned to Austin for our Holiday Market this November 29+30 at the Palmer Events Center! Attendees enjoyed a festive weekend of holiday and winter shopping with some of the best indie makers around.
We were happy to celebrate an array of 100+ indie makers for attendees to shop local for the holidays and support Small Business Saturday! Market hours were from 11 am- 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Shoppers found a selection of outstanding handmade goods at the Fair, perfect for checking off Holiday gift lists – ranging from holiday inspired stationery and gift wrap, unique and one-of-a-kind jewelry, apparel and shoes, to Eco-friendly furniture, prints and posters, housewares and much more. Plus, the venue and booths were adorned with lights, evergreen, and holiday cheer!
Attendees browsed a mixture of holiday shopping, free workshops, and activities. Pom Pom Quarterly offered make-and-take holiday baubles and embroidered cards, while LeafDistrict skill-shared how to screen print, wood burn, and build your own bath salts. Loot Vintage Rentals and Spruce Upholstery gave shoppers a break with their comfy lounge areas with reading material provided by the Austin Public Library + Recycled Reads, and a soundtrack from the DJs at Waterloo Records.
Magnolia Photo Booth was on site and furnished with fun props and backdrops to commemorate all the fun times with RCF!
The Renegade Craft Gift Adornment station was stocked with gift wrap goodie bags fit with gift tags, toppers, twine, and whatever else to spruce up holiday gifts.
