Thanks for checking out the 1st Ever Renegade Craft Fair in Austin, held on May 15 + 16 indoors at the Palmer Events Center!
This FREE TO ATTEND craft, art, design and DIY spectacular ran from 11am – 7pm each day + featured over 200 of today’s finest indie-craft talents from all over the nation!!

The pioneering ladies of The Austin Craft Mafia let us in on their many craft-making adventures!
Screenprinted tees, made with the help of Susann Keohane at the ACM booth, were then transformed it into a one of a kind creation with the help of Stitch Lab!
Mafia members Leslie Bonnell, Jenny Hart and more led a variety of textile and fashion-related classes at the Stitch Lab booth!
The fellas from Public School were in attendance sharing their design and photography skills. Check out all the many hilarious “school portraits” taken by this incredible, Austin-based design collective here!
Part boutique, part classroom – The WonderCraft had their shiny, new 32-foot airline streamer (a.k.a.Stella!) on site, leading a slew of workshops in jewelry + accessory making!
The fantastic folks from ETSY.com led a wonderful hands-on booth! Stamping, sewing, printing – you name it! Etsy helped guide attendees through many quick + simple, make + take projects!
Boisterous pandemonium erupted when Austin’s Minor Mishap Marching Band made their way through the Fair + only the best in independent music was on blast with DJs from KVRX on hand! Americana folkster’s Shotgun Party played two terrific sets both days!
Thanks to The Magnolia Photobooth Co. for bringing out their free-to-use photobooth, Juxtapoz Magazine for providing attendees with free issues, and to Uppercase Journal, BurdaStyle.com, Beautiful/Decay and Jenny Hart’s Sublime Stitching for providing free-to-enter raffle prizes!
