The wait is *finally* over, the Renegade Gang is heading back to our favorite borough for the 8rd Annual Renegade Craft Fair Brooklyn!! Get ready for 300+ (yes, more than 300!) of today’s best + brightest indie makers (check out the artist line-up here, and be prepared to freak out over how awesome each and every one is), hands-on workshops, music, food, and more! We’ll be at the East River State Park (aka the Williamsburg Waterfont) from 11am-7pm Saturday and Sunday! WE CAN’T WAIT!!!

Brooklyn RCF Spotlight: Wonderous Wonder

Things we’re suckers for >> Process shots, glimpses of other people’s studios, and super-intricate prints. So it’s difficult for us not to get very excited about this gorgeous gem of a print (which measures a whopping 3′x5′!) from justAjar Design Press. Sara and Bobby “use old technology to create unique work”, and as you can see, the results are dazzling.They’ll be displaying this piece and many many more at this weekend’s 8th Annual RCF Brooklyn, and we can’t wait to see what else they’ll bring. Brooklyn Booths: Debbie Carlos + boyfren/girlfren

True facts: The Renegade Gang *loves* a good shared booth. “That’s a great, dynamic booth share” is a phrase that is earnestly said quite a bit around Renegade HQ (seriously). We’re all about making the fairs as interesting and diverse as possible, and great shared booths go a long way to making an awesome fair with tons of talented + creative folks. One booth share we’re really excited to see at this year’s Brooklyn RCF (June 23 + 24!) is Debbie Carlos + boyfren/girlfren. Photography + sewn accessories doesn’t necessarily scream “awesome booth pairing!”, but the combination of Debbie’s dreamy photography prints and Lilian’s sturdy bags create a world we like to see.

Movin’ On Up

Reason #98734598 we’re mega-excited for this year’s RCF Brooklyn – we’re taking it to a new location. That’s right, we’re heading just a few blocks from our trusty McCarren Park to the exciting and beautiful East River State Park (aka the Williamsburg Waterfront). The new spot will make for a cozier, easy-to-get-to-every-booth layout, and will offer a pleasant breeze and (our favorite part) an OUTRAGEOUS view of the Manhattan skyline. What could be better? Nothing, is the answer. See you there!
