Although it defies all logic, this is EMBROIDERED. Yes. Daniel Kornrumpf, you are amazing. (Found here.)
Hmm. Austin. Embroidery. How can your brain not go directly to that grand poobah (is that a saying? let’s go with yes.) of embroidery, Jenny Hart of Sublime Stitching. And guess what? Sublime Stitching will be at the Second Annual Austin Renegade Craft Fair! Yee-haw!! (Please forgive us, we’re excited!)

What? Sublime Stitching + Berkley Illustration embroidery pattern = amazing Austin RCF synergy!

P.S. Stay tuned, we’ll be featuring MANY more Austin RCF excitement in the coming weeks – get ready!

We promise someday we will stop being excited about the new office…

But today (a rainy gloomy one) is not that day. I went on a little photo journey around the new building. Here’s some of our favorites.

Justin and his wife (and sometime RCF helper extraordinaire) leaning out the window. Warning Lucille 2: May cause vertigo.

The ‘Lift Bridge’ on the South side of the building. Note the guitar toting cyclist on the left. So artsy.

The door leading to the 3rd floor that we are all enamored with.

We’re not sure why these watermelons are painted here, but we hope it’s because it was a watermelon factory.

Our View of the Chicago skyline!

Look at this incredible view of the city from our office windows! The Sears Tower will always be the Sears Tower to us. Willis who? Bruce? Is that you?

Do you like awesome things? Will you be in Chicago March 25 + 26? Good & good, because that means you won’t miss the extremely awesome Chicago Zine Fest! Renegade is crazy excited to sponsor the Zine Fest (stop by and say hi to us, we’ll be there!) Plus, we just got some awesome zines in the shop (did you see our zine window, too? We’re bonkers for zines!), including some by the super excellent Corinne Mucha. She’s pretty much the best, and as you can see in the comic below, she’s not afraid to tackle hot-button issues.
