Greetings, art lovers! In case you’ve been putting off buying that piece from the MummySam Spotlight Gallery Show that you’ve had your eye on, now is the time to sieze the day! Bit and Bobs, number 5 in our ongoing Spotlight Series will be closing it’s doors (figuratively, of course. Our gallery doesn’t even have a door) this Sunday, March 28. Soooo, if you’re in Chicago, come on by and get to looking, and if you’re elsewhere and wanna look like one of the cool kids with real art on your wall, get to browsing the online store! There are still some amazing pieces that can be yours, including all the work pictured above. And a bird in a boat. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Oh, and in case you forgot what’s coming up next in the Spotlight Gallery, My Paper Crane’s “Seedlings and Sprouts” will be on display just in time for t-shirt weather (we hope), starting April 3rd. Yay spring!

It’s so fun to make little impulse purchases here and there, but there’s something so great about finding that perfect piece that you know you’ll have forever and ever. Here are a few of our new favorites that will surely be your new classics:

We’ve been going crazy here at the shop for these porcelain pieces by Stephanie Kao. Each one is hand-thrown and hand-painted. Seriously, you’ll want to have these forever.

There will be an opening reception (free food, free drinks, awesome art!) on April 3rd at Renegade Handmade, so mark your calendar and dust off your favorite spring threads!

Hey Chicago! If you haven’t been in to see the current Spotlight Series show, Mummysam’s Bits + Bobs, never fear– You’ve still got a couple weeks left to come check it out!
