Viewing Party @ Renegade Handmade (1924 W. Division St., Chicago, IL)
Friday, October 30 | 7pm – 9pm
We are officially one week away from the opening of Spotlight Series #2: Mike Perry’s Insound 10 Classic!
And YOU are officially invited to swing by Renegade Handmade, check out Perry’s awesome work + enjoy some free beer and wine!
Featuring all new limited edition silkscreen posters Perry has specially designed, the InSound 10 Classic tells a visual narrative of 20 years of punk, new-wave and indie music through the medium of the rock-poster and a contemporary-design lens.
Bands featured in Perrys designs include; Richard Hell + The Voidoids, The Feelies, Beat Happening, Galaxie 500, The Magnetic Fields, The Promise Ring, The Olivia Tremor Control, The Apples in Stereo, Sleater-Kinney and The Promise Ring. Each of these fantastic designs were hand-printed locally in Chicago by the incredible artist behind each of our Craft Fair posters, Renegade’s beloved Mat Daly! Thanks Mat!
How great are these models, by the way?
In addition to posters, we will have T-shirts and tote bags for sale featuring Perrys original artwork.
Attention online shoppers :: Posters will also be available in our online shop beginning Nov. 2nd!
